Adam Anthony '87, Director
Adam Anthony is the second director of William & Mary's Washington Office, succeeding Susan Hall Wayland ‘ 66. He came to William & Mary from the Center for Democracy & Citizenship at the Council for Excellence in Government, where he served as Project Director for the Center's Campaign for Young Voters project.
Previously, Adam worked in corporate public relations and public affairs, managing communications campaigns in technology and international trade. He served as a Vice President at Fleishman-Hillard Public Relations, Public Affairs Director for User Technology Associates, and Vice President and Managing Director for SheaHedges Communications. He also worked on Capitol Hill and on national and statewide political campaigns.
Adam has a B.A. in English and Government from William & Mary and a M.A. in Government from Johns Hopkins University.

Roxane Adler Hickey M.Ed. '02, Assistant Director
Roxane Adler Hickey was the first Program Director for The College of William & Mary's W&M in Washington Program and now serves as the Assistant Director of the Washington Office. Roxane earned her Bachelor's degree at Bucknell University, studying both English and Education. She graduated from the William & Mary School of Education with a Master of Education in Educational Policy, Planning, & Leadership with an emphasis in Higher Education Administration -- spending a summer as an intern in William & Mary's Washington Office.
Before coming back to the Washington Office in her present role, Roxane served as the Director of Service-Learning and a college counselor at Hyde Leadership Public Charter School in Washington, DC. As Director of W&M in Washington, she guides students as they prepare for and progress through their semester in DC.

Javier Cabezas, W&M in Washington Program Manager
Javier Cabezas is the Program Manager for the W&M in Washington Program and the W&M Alumni Association's GMWDC Alumni Chapter. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 2008 with a BA in Linguistics and a minor in Drama. Prior to joining the Washington Office, Javier worked with LivingSocial here in DC.

Peter DeCrescenzo, Graduate Assistant -- Washington Office
Peter DeCrescenzo is a graduate student at the University of Maryland-College Park. In January 2010, he began his role as the Graduate Assistant in the Washington Office. His duties in the office have revolved around the implementation of the two inaugural classes of the DC Summer Institutes and the 2010 Summer Events Program. Peter graduated from the College of Staten Island in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in History and Secondary Education. While at the College, Peter participated in Student Government, the CUNY Pipeline Program, and the CUNY Malave Leadership Academy.

Kelly Finzer, Program Assistant -- Summer Institutes
Kelly Finzer graduated from Ohio State this past June where she majored in Psychology and minored in Dance and International Studies. During her time on campus she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority, served on the Panhellenic Association, and worked with a group of students focused on advocating legislative changes to make college more accessible to students. Last summer Kelly interned in DC with Ohio State's Office of Federal Relations, and now she is excited to be joining the team in the William & Mary Washington Office.
