Tim von Sletten '16

Tim von Stetten interned at the National MS Society's Greater Maryland-DC Chapter. He visited support groups and health workshops in the DC area, assisted with various fundraising and awareness events, and updated the chapter's service provider database to ensure we distributed accurate information. He was a Class of 2016 grad, double majoring in Sociology and Accounting.

 He would advise future students to take advantage of the connections you can make while in DC. Get to know your W&M mentor, meet with others in your office aside from your direct supervisor, and reach out to people who work in sectors that interest you. After the program, the networks you make can help you whether you're applying for a job or looking for an apartment.
