• Visited the DC Public Schools Central Office, Anacostia High School, the US Senate, and Maury Elementary School
• Enjoyed dinner and discussion each night with alums in education and non-profit fields
• Stayed in quality housing for the duration of the visit

Virginia Shakespeare Festival Auditions

Professors Christopher Owens and Tamara Johnson used the Washington Center conference room to host DC auditions for the Virginia Shakespeare Festival. The proximity of the Center to the Dupont Circle Metro station, Union Station, and National Airport gave Professors Owens and Johnson access to actors from around the country.
