DC Winter Seminars Details

D.C. Winter Seminars

The D.C. Winter Seminars enable outstanding W&M faculty to spend 10 days living, teaching, visiting and meeting with topical experts in Washington, D.C. It offers you the chance to teach a curriculum built around a topic that you propose. 

The D.C. Winter Seminars give you the added benefit of having the W&M Washington Center team available as a resource throughout the experience. The W&M Washington Center team works closely with you to:

• Find speakers for classes
• Make contacts with organizations/institutions with which you wish to work
• Reconnect with former students and other local alums

How it Works

D.C. Winter Seminars professors design and teach one 3-credit course that uses D.C.'s unique educational opportunities and align with the topic. During the fall semester, classes will meet three times on campus.
