Cascade

Jointly led by University Communications, University Marketing and Information Technology, the university has launched a multi-year initiative to reimagine its digital presence. Our first milestone will entail a review and cleanup of Cascade web content, followed by a focus on meeting federal and state accessibility requirements by the April 24, 2024, compliance deadline.

Cascade is the web content management system (CMS) used to maintain most W&M department, office and program websites — those found at www.wm.edu, cdsp.wm.edu, education.wm.edu, law.wm.edu, mason.wm.edu and vims.edu. University Web & Design administers Cascade and supports a network of managers and editors, creating a unified web presence for the university.
