Listing Pages

Special page types that produce "pretty" lists.

What is a listing page, you say? A listing page is a special type of index page that comes pre-packaged for you in a "Listing Folder". It brings the magic to your directory, announcement, news or feature sections by producing a formatted, clickable list of the items within the same folder.

To get started building a news, announcements, directory or features section in your site, you'll need to create a "Listing Folder - News", "Listing Folder - Announcements", etc. If you need assistance, contact your web manager.

Learn more about the specific listing page types:

Directory Listing Page: Used to organize and display a list of  your faculty or staff directory pages.

News Stories Listing Page: Organizes, lists and summarizes all of your included news stories.

Features Listing Page: This will organize and list all of your included feature pages.

Announcement Listing Folder: This will list your top announcements ... like an event without the dates.

File Listing Page: This nifty tool displays a maintenance-free list of the included files.

Note: Do not mix and match what kind of pages you put in the folder with the index page ... announcements go with announcements ... features go with features.
