Widget Images
Widget images are the rectangular photos that scroll through the center of the widget.
Step One: Size your widget image(s)
- Widget images must be 240px wide. While the height is flexible, the standard height is 150px.
- Save as a .jpg file. The recommended file size for widget images is about 30KB.
- Navigate to the widget folder and select "New>>Image." Select the image you just created. (Need help creating the widget folder? We have instructions).
- Repeat these steps for each image you want in the widget.
Step Two: Create your widget "text top"
The widget "text top" is the large, bold text at the top of each widget. These "text tops" are actually image files. The text can be about 12-15 characters in length.
- You'll need Adobe Photoshop for this step. If you don't have Photoshop the [[creative,Creative Services team]] will happily create your text top.
- Use the provided Photoshop template to create widget text - it should be in all capital letters, with no italics or underlines using the font "Rockwell"
- Save as a .png file.
- Navigate to the widget folder and select "New>>Image." Select the text top you just created. (Need help creating the widget folder? We have instructions).
Detailed instructions for assembling and placing widgets are also available.
