Directory Photos

Photos of faculty and staff created specifically for their directory page

Step One: Create and upload a primary photo
  1. Crop and size a photo to appear on the faculty/staff member's web page.  The recommended size is 200x200 pixels. The image doesn't have to be square, but it's a good idea to limit the image width to about 300 pixels.
  2. In Cascade, navigate to the appropriate images folder.  Select "New>>Image" and upload the image you just created.
Step Two: Create and upload a thumbnail
  1. The photo thumbnail will appear on the directory listing page.  (Here's an example).
  2. The thumbnail must be 100x100 pixels.  You may need to crop the photo to achieve this size.
  3. In Cascade, navigate to the appropriate images folder.  Select "New>>Image" and upload the image you just created.
Step Three: Link the two photos to the faculty/staff member's directory page
  1. Edit the directory page of the faculty/staff member
  2. Under the "Content" sub-heading, click the "[ ]" and select the full-size photo you just uploaded to Cascade.
  3. Under the "Thumbnail" sub-heading, click the "[ ]" and select the 100x100px thumbnail you uploaded to Cascade.
  4. Submit your changes and publish your directory folder.
