Directory Photos
Photos of faculty and staff created specifically for their directory page
Step One: Create and upload a primary photo
- Crop and size a photo to appear on the faculty/staff member's web page. The recommended size is 200x200 pixels. The image doesn't have to be square, but it's a good idea to limit the image width to about 300 pixels.
- In Cascade, navigate to the appropriate images folder. Select "New>>Image" and upload the image you just created.
Step Two: Create and upload a thumbnail
- The photo thumbnail will appear on the directory listing page. (Here's an example).
- The thumbnail must be 100x100 pixels. You may need to crop the photo to achieve this size.
- In Cascade, navigate to the appropriate images folder. Select "New>>Image" and upload the image you just created.
Step Three: Link the two photos to the faculty/staff member's directory page
- Edit the directory page of the faculty/staff member
- Under the "Content" sub-heading, click the "[ ]" and select the full-size photo you just uploaded to Cascade.
- Under the "Thumbnail" sub-heading, click the "[ ]" and select the 100x100px thumbnail you uploaded to Cascade.
- Submit your changes and publish your directory folder.
