W&M's Policy on Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation protects women working at the university from all forms of sex- and gender-based discrimination and retaliation including

  • discrimination on the basis of gender identity or expression
  • discrimination because of pregnancy
  • discrimination in compensation
  • retaliation for opposing discrimination or engaging in other protected activity.
