Internships are viable learning opportunities for students exploring virtually any career path, and are often considered one of the most significant related experiences on a resume at graduation.  It is important to understand 3 things about internships prior to researching and participating in one:

Applications

You will need a well-written, targeted resume and cover letter for most internship applications, and you will be responsible for having an updated profile in Tribe Careers to have access to many of the internship opportunities.

Externships

An Externship is a brief (1-2 day) job shadowing opportunity that is available over Winter Break. During these experiences, students will have the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the field that they are considering, as well as begin to develop a stronger professional network. Students can find and apply for externships through Tribe Careers. Students from any class year and any industry interest can benefit from the experience!
