Mary Schilling earned a B.A. degree in Sociology with minors in Psychology and Philosophy from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale (’64). She then went on to earn her M.A. in Religion from Northwestern University (’67) and later took advanced graduate coursework in Education Policy and Leadership at The Ohio State University ‘(’87-’89).
Prior to coming to William & Mary in 1999, she worked as the Director of Career Development at Denison University in Ohio for 12 years. Currently she serves as Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs and Executive Director for Career Development.
Mary specializes in advising and working with graduate students and with students and alumni seeking to enter graduate and professional programs, particularly medical and law school, as well as those interested in careers in Publishing and Investment Banking.
