Background

Mary Schilling earned a B.A. degree in Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale ('64).  She then went on the earn her M.A. in Religion from Northwestern University ('66) and in Education Policy and Leadership from The Ohio State University ('89).

Prior to coming to William & Mary in 1999, she was the Director of Career Development at Denison University.  Her current position at William & Mary is Director of the Career Center.

Mary specializes in counseling and working with students and alumni seeking to go on to graduate programs such as medical and law school, as well as those interested in careers in Publishing, Finance, Public Policy and the Sciences.
