Brandy is an accomplished human resources professional with experience in talent management, leadership development, workforce and succession planning, compensation and classification, employee relations, policy design and administration, performance evaluation, and employment law. Regarded as an objective, trusted problem solver with the ability to work with employees at all levels, Ms. Day has worked in a variety of industries including consulting, education, local government, and healthcare. She currently serves as the Chief Talent Officer for Williamsburg Landing, a continuing care retirement community.
Ms. Day has a record of applying HR expertise to accomplish strategic organizational goals by serving as a key partner with executive leadership. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) and is a graduate of two local leadership programs. In addition, Ms. Day holds the designation of Senior Certified Professional by the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP) and Certified Professional by the International Public Management Association for Human Resources (IPMA-SCP). Ms. Day received her Bachelor of Arts in Government & International Politics from George Mason University and her Master of Education in Policy, Planning & Leadership from The College of William & Mary in 2010.
