Massage Therapy is an ancient art with roots that can be traced to many cultures. It's a positive way to manage your stress, relieve muscular pain, reduce tension, and more importantly it feels great!
Campus Recreation offers massage services provided by professionally trained, Nationally Certified, and Virginia Licensed Massage Therapists who are committed to advancing their knowledge through continued education. Massage services at the Student Recreation Center are provided primarily for students, faculty and staff members at the College of William and Mary. Individuals not affiliated with the College must have a William and Mary "sponsor" in order to make a massage appointment. This means that they must have a William and Mary student, faculty or staff member or a current Rec Center privilege card holder come with them to the Rec Center when they get their massage. Non-college affiliates with a sponsor are eligible for Faculty/Staff & Privilege Card Holder prices, plus an additional $5.00 guest fee.
The massage therapy room is located on the mid-level of the Campus Recreation Center.
Massage sessions are reserved online. To make your appointment, you will need to create a user profile, with a username and password. It will just take a few minutes. We are still not able to accept online payments, so please make your payment at the Recreation Center front desk before your massage. We accept payments of cash, check or W&M express.
It is required that massage sessions are reserved with 24 hours advanced notice.
