Williamsburg Community Christmas Parade 2016

Saturday, December 3, 2016 @ 8:00 AM. Please note the start time has changed. The parade will start at Brooks Street & Richmond Road proceed down Richmond Road to the first block of Merchants Square, make a right on Henry Street and continue to Court Street and Lot 44 in Colonial Williamsburg for dispersal.
Full Description
The College of William and Mary will host and provide space on campus for the lineup and step off of the Annual Williamsburg Community Christmas Parade. Several areas of campus will be under Special Event restrictions to facilitate setup and execution of the parade .
The following areas are closed to parking begining Friday Dec 2nd at 5:00 PM through Saturday Dec 3rd at 11:00 AM: Brooks St from Compton to College Terrace, McClurg Dr, the portion of Landrum Dr from the Swem Loading dock to the intersection with Ukrop Way, and the School of Ed Lot 7.
The Kaplan Arena (W&M Hall) Lot will not be closed to parking however we ask students to consider parking elsewhere to make the greatest number of spaces available for community participants to use.
Saturday Dec 3rd, 2016
Starting at 5:00 AM - the following roads will be closed to general traffic: Compton Dr from Monticello Ave to Brooks St, Brooks St from Ukrop Way to College Terrace.
Starting at 7:30 AM - The following intersections along Richmond Rd will be closed: Dillard St, Harrison Ave, Bright St, Stadium Dr, Entrance/Exit to Dawson Circle, and James Blair Dr. OTP Residents will need to exit onto Virginia Ave. On campus along Ukrop Way - Gooch & Yates Dr will be closed to through traffic. These intersections will reopen as soon as the parade ends.
