Learning Odyssey Program A Popular Choice

William & Mary Learning Odyssey program Friends, Neighbors, Presidents: The World of Jefferson, Madison and Monroe, was recently ranked in the top 20 for Road Scholar programs for Spring 2013.  

"Discover the world of Thomas Jefferson, third president of the United States, and his friends and neighbors, James Monroe and James Madison.  Recall the lives and times of these great men and the nation they helped forge through lectures examining their friendships, political careers, persona lives and philosophies, as well as Federal-era architecture and society."

This program, which offers three sessions throughout April, May and June is based in Charlottesville, Virginia.

The William & Mary Learning Odyssey office provides outstanding educational instruction from College faculty and local experts and historians.  Many of the Road Scholar programs focus on historical themes and take place in Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown; in Charlottesville; in Farmville; and at Virginia Beach.
