Next, journey to Williamsburg and a time when Thomas Jefferson and Patrick Henry sparked the American Revolution. Debate a vote for independence, sample colonial cooking and clothing, and enjoy a real tavern meal. Talk to prosperous colonists, like the wig maker, silversmith, and tavern keeper. Journey onward to Yorktown, and celebrate the 225th anniversary of our independence. Together, experience what life was like in the capital of Virginia. Lectures, demonstrations, and participatory activities alternate with extensive field trips that include presentations and sites not usually available. Tickets included.
