At Learning Odysseys, we provide outstanding educational instruction from College faculty and local experts and historians. Many of our Road Scholar programs focus on historical themes and take place in Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown-- the "Historic Triangle" of Virginia; in Charlottesville, with the nearby homes of  Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and James Monroe; in Farmville and along  the Civil Rights in Education Heritage Trail; and at Virginia Beach with its rich colonial, maritime, and military history. We also offer service programs partnering with local non-profits, Tidewater biking adventures, and birding programs on the Eastern Shore and in the Great Dismal Swamp.
