How They Work
Meal plans come with a combination of meals and Dining Dollars. Meals can be used in our two all-you-care-to-eat dining halls (Sadler Center and the Commons) and Dining Dollars can be used like cash at any dining locations on campus: Marketplace, Lodge 1 in Sadler, Wholly Habaneros, BBQ 1693, Argo Tea, dining at the Law School, dining at the School of Education, Boehly Café, Dodge Room, Jamba Juice in the Rec Center, Aromas in Swem Library and Domino’s Pizza delivery and more.
All Freshmen are required to select either the Freedom, Gold 19 or Gold 14 meal plan. If a meal plan is not selected by Thursday, July 3, the Gold 19 plan will be automatically applied to your account.
You may change your meal plan once prior to the end of the add/drop period. Any additional changes will result in a $25 processing fee. For the 2014-2015 academic year, the add/drop period ends at 5 pm on Friday, September 5 for the fall semester and Friday, January 30 for the spring semester. Changes or cancellations after the add/drop period are rare and must be approved by the Contract Release Committee after the submission of a completed Meal Plan Petition. Approved changes will be assessed any used meals and Dining Dollars as well as a $25 processing fee.

Are you a student residing off-campus but still looking for a meal plan that meets your needs? Commuter students may choose from any of the available meal plans or the Commuter Plan which includes 5 meal swipes per week and $200 Dining Dollars for $686 per semester.
