Pre-Collegiate Program

The Application Process

 

You can download the forms you will need to apply by clicking on the links below.

You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to download these forms. It is available for free here.

Once you have the forms, follow these procedures:

  1. Complete the Program Application Form.
  2. Complete the Virginia Domicile Form if you live in Virginia.
  3. Complete the Financial Aid Form if you desire.
  4. Have your teacher or counselor complete the Teacher Evaluation Form.
  5. To obtain printed copies of these forms, you may:

    · write us (see address below)
  6. Send us the following together in ONE envelope to the address below:
    · A completed Application form, plus other applicable forms
    · Your official high school transcript in a sealed envelope, signed over the seal by your guidance counselor
    · The teacher Evaluation form filled in by your teacher or counselor
    · An essay of approximately 300 words explaining your interest in studying American history this summer.
    · You may also send your PSAT, SAT, or ACT scores, but they are not required unless you are homeschooled.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: April 23, 2008.

We will begin to admit students on February 15 and expect to make all admission decisions by June 5.

There is NO application fee.

Important note: Admission to this summer program does NOT imply acceptance into the undergraduate program at the College of William and Mary.
