As the weather turns chillier and festive wreaths appear across campus, William & Mary’s departments and student groups have announced a myriad of holiday events taking place throughout the month. For information on additional upcoming W&M events, visit the events calendar.

Richmond Yule Log Celebration

Annual Pre-Kwanzaa Celebration

This program will feature presentations and performances from members of the William & Mary community. Various cultural organizations will do readings, skits, and musical renditions representing the seven principles of Kwanzaa. The evening will end with a family-style dinner featuring Afro-Caribbean cuisine. This event is FREE and open to the community!

W&M Symphony Orchestra Fall Concert

Winter Choral Concert

Winter combined choirs concert, featuring the W&M Choir, under the direction of James Armstrong and the Women's Chorus and Botetourt Chamber Singers, under the direction of Jamie Bartlett.

Winter Graduates Reception

The Office of Student Affairs, the Senior Class and the Graduate Council sponsor a reception and recognition ceremony honoring graduate and undergraduate students completing their degrees in December/January.

Yule Log Ceremony

Wren Courtyard
Come enjoy this annual tradition that includes holiday music and a special Dr. Seuss reading. Then, cast a holly sprig into the Yule log fire for good luck.
