W&M Business Law Review names first Advisory Board

Greer (J.D.'89), partner at Reed Smith; Elizabeth Besio Hardin (B.A. '85, J.D.'89), partner at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy; Dennis C. Hensley (J.D.'70), partner at Sidley Austin; Lawrence B. Pulley, Dean of William & Mary's Mason School of Business; and M. Nicole Williams (J.D. '96), partner at Williams Mullen.
The Review's Editor-in-Chief Benjamin David Novak '10 said that the publication's Executive Board invited these ten individuals to serve on the Advisory Board in recognition of their prominence in the business law community. He expects the Advisory Board members to serve as liaisons between the publication and the greater business law community.
"Advisory Board members will recommend topics for staff members' student notes and suggest topics and speakers for future symposia, among other activities," Novak said.
Cutler Professor of Law Jayne Barnard, the Review's faculty advisor, said, "The men and women on the Advisory Board are key contributors to the idea bank into which students can tap in thinking about the challenges of business and law today."
The William & Mary Business Law Review will publish professional articles, essays, and student notes that explore the nexus among business, law, and ethics. The Review selected its Volume 1 editorial staff in August 2009 and the first issue of that volume will be available later this month.
