Reveley announces search committee for student affairs vice president

Following is the text of an e-mail sent to staff, faculty and students by President Taylor Reveley regarding the search for a new vice president for student affairs.  —Ed.

We now have a search committee for our next permanent Vice President for Student Affairs. The committee’s members are:

Henry Broaddus, Dean of Admission
George Greenia, Professor of Modern Languages and Literatures
Issam Hamididdin, Class of 2009
Valerie Hopkins, Class of 2009, President of the Student Assembly
Sam Jones, Vice President for Finance
Colleen Kennedy, Associate Professor of English
Todd Mooradian, Associate Professor, Mason School of Business
Scott Nelson, Legum Professor of History
Kathy O’Brien, Administrative Assistant, Department of English
Justin Reid, Class of 2009, President of WM NAACP chapter

As with our provost and law dean searches, the student affairs effort will be national in scope and conducted without a search firm. It should end by April 2009.
