W&M Board of Visitors to meet Sept. 21-23
The William & Mary Board of Visitors will meet in Williamsburg from Sept. 21-23, 2016.
Committee meetings will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21, in the Board Room on the third floor of Blow Memorial Hall, located at 262 Richmond Road. The meetings are scheduled to conclude by 6:30 p.m. The Board will then attend a dinner at 7 p.m. on the second floor of the Smith-McGlothlin Grandstand at Zable Stadium, located at 100 Stadium Drive.
On Thursday, Sept. 22, the meetings will resume at 8 a.m. in Blow Hall and conclude by approximately 11:30 a.m. The Board will then attend the dedication of Phase III of the Integrated Science Center, located at 540 Landrum Drive, followed by a building tour and lunch. Meetings will resume at Blow Hall at 2 p.m. and are scheduled to conclude at approximately 4:50 p.m.
At 5 p.m., the Board will attend a dedication of Tyler Hall, located at 300 James Blair Drive. The Board will then attend a ceremony honoring new members at 6 p.m. in the Blue Room of the Sir Christopher Wren Building, located at 111 Jamestown Road. The ceremony will be followed by a Board reception and dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Wren.
On Friday, Sept. 23, the Board’s committee meetings will resume at 8:30 a.m. in Blow Hall and should conclude at approximately 10:45 a.m. The full Board meeting will begin at 10:45 a.m. and will conclude at approximately 1 p.m., followed by lunch.
All times are approximate, and the Board reserves the right to adjust its schedule as necessary. The meetings are open to the public, but there will be no opportunity for public comment.
