Saturday's Incident at Tribe Square
Dear William & Mary Community,
Early Saturday morning, a shooting took place near Tribe Square. No students or members of the campus community were involved or harmed, and William & Mary Police concluded very quickly there was no imminent threat to the campus community.
An incident so rare in Williamsburg and so close to campus is, nonetheless, enormously disturbing. Our Emergency Management Team has as an immediate priority to review how we responded to this incident. Safety is an absolute necessity.
