Update: The on-campus memorial for Troy Pelish will be held in the Sunken Garden (on the side nearest the Wren Building). If conditions are unfavorable, the service will move inside to the Wren Chapel.

Memorial services for Troy Pelish are now being planned, and I want to share the most current information we have.
CAMPUS MEMORIAL SERVICE
A campus memorial service for Troy has been scheduled for next Monday afternoon, February 20, at 4:00 p.m. The location will be announced later this week. Please join Troy’s family, his friends, and others from the William and Mary community as we gather to celebrate his life.
SERVICES PLANNED BY THE PELISH FAMILY
Troy’s obituary appears on the website of Oakey’s Funeral Home. The site provides details about funeral arrangements and also features a guest book where messages to the family may be shared. Troy’s family will receive visitors on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Oakey’s Funeral Home, 627 Hardy Road, Vinton, VA. His funeral will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Mineral Springs Baptist Church. The College will provide transportation to and from Vinton on Friday for students who would like to attend the funeral. Please contact studentaffairs@wm.edu or call 757-221-1236 no later than 8:00 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday) morning to request a seat on the bus.
Expressions of sympathy and donations to offset the cost of burial expenses would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Our thoughts continue to be with Troy’s family and friends during this very difficult time.
