Host Your Event at the Muscarelle

For a truly special occasion, consider the Muscarelle Museum of Art for your next special party, fundraiser or corporate event. Groups up to 250 people may be accommodated.

Many of the Museum’s wonderful spaces are available for special events. FACILITY RENTAL GUIDELINES

Capacity

Upstairs (North, Graves & Cheek Galleries)
Standing Reception: Maximum of 250 people using all galleries
Seated: Maximum of 80 people

Downstairs (Spigel Gallery)

Standing Reception: 200
Seated: Maximum of 24 people

Availability

Available for rental nights and weekends.   

Photography

Permission for photography is at the discretion of the Director, and per exhibition agreements. 

Catering

Choose from a list of our Preferred Caterers who are knowledgeable regarding reception logistics at the Museum or choose your own. 

Rental fees

$500 plus $5.00 per person plus security fees (see Special Provisions below).  Contact the Museum as rates for College sponsored events may vary. 

Entertainment

Policies regarding live or recorded music vary depending on the current exhibition stipulations. 

SPECIAL PROVISIONS

*  A minimum of 2 security guards are required at $25 per hour, for the period when the caterer arrives until the museum closes.

*  The use of candles or open flames is strictly prohibited.
