Recording and Posting MP3 Audio Files for Courses
(Instructions for Windows-based computers)

Posting to Blackboard: If you've already created your MP3 file, you can share it with your class via Blackboard's Podcast feature by following these steps:

1. Log in to Blackboard and go to the course site
2. From the TOOLS Control Panel, select the content area where you'd like the podcast to reside. Some people create a PODCASTS button in the main menu for this. After selecting the content area, you should see a menu bar at the top of the page. At the far right, you'll see the SELECT Learning Unit option with a pulldown menu. Instead of Learning Unit, select Podcast Episode and hit GO. Don't hit OK--it won't work. Now you should see a new page where you can upload your newly created MP3 or MP4 file.
