William and Mary Sponsored Programs: Students pay their regular tuition to William and Mary while living in Japan and taking classes at Japanese Universities
Kanazawa University
Overlooking the Sea of Japan, the city of Kanazawa is known for its scenic beauty, its rich culture, both traditional and modern, and its cordial hospitality. Approximately five hours by train from Tokyo, this city is a regional commercial, educational, and artistic center. Many famous Japanese writers came from Kanazawa and Japanese still travel there to see the historic temples and great mansions of the warrior class.
Spring Semester or Academic Year Program
Deadline February 15 (Spring deadline is one year prior to travel)
Language Requirement: 2 years of college-level Japanese
Keio University
Since 1990, the College of William and Mary has enjoyed a thriving relationship with Keio University. In the heart of downtown Tokyo, Keio University is the oldest institution of higher education in Japan. The Keio experience combines a mix of the modern and the traditional that characterizes Japan's capital city.
Fall Semester, Spring Semester or Academic Year Program
