Japanese Concentrations

The College of William and Mary offers two concentrations (majors) and two minors for students desiring to focus on the East Asian region. All concentrations and minors are interdisciplinary in nature. They require intensive Chinese or Japanese language training, as well as an examination of China, Japan and Korea through such disciplines as anthropology, art history, economics, government, history, literature, philosophy, and religion. East Asian Studies faculty members closely advise students in their selection of courses and in their planning for future careers.
