Selection for the scholarships described here is based upon both merit and need. Thus applicants should state in their personal statement submitted with the program application how they qualify under both criteria.

Summer Program in Münster

Elsa Diduk Scholarship

A former student of Professor Elsa Diduk established a scholarship fund in her honor upon her retirement in 1992. This fund has grown through the years and now provides approximately $1,000 per year to support students participating in this program.

The scholarship support available through both of these funds may be awarded to one or several students, depending upon the number who meet the selection criteria.

Junior Year Program in Münster

The Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster awards a scholarship to one of the William and Mary students studying there each year. The amount of the scholarship, DM 750 per month for ten months, is intended to help cover room and board expenses during the student's year of study in Münster. Every student accepted for this program is automatically considered for the scholarship.
