Mathematics Department
Undergraduate Research and Exchange Programs

Students are encouraged to do honors theses in their senior years. This is a primary way for undergraduates to work with faculty members and gain undergraduate research experience. Interested students should discuss such opportunities with concentration advisors and professors.
Also, the mathematics department or individual professors may run REU programs in the summer or during the semester supported by the National Science Foundation. Students should pay attention to public announcements and contact individual professors.
