Mathematics Department
Computing
The mathematics department has a network of Linux workstations in Jones Hall. The workstations and software are maintained by the Computer Science Department.
In addition, faculty members and graduate students have access to an on-campus Sun Microsystems Super Computer and Computation Science Cluster facilities.
Current software includes:
- ARENA (discrete-event simulation)
- CPLEX (optimization)
- TeX/LaTeX (text processing)
- Maple (computer algebra system)
- SLAM (discrete-event simulation)
- SPLUS (statistical package)
