The Linguistics Program houses the journal Language & Communication, edited by Professor Talbot J. Taylor.

Professor Anne Charity directs the Linguistics Laboratory in Tucker 208, with a focus on language variation in the South.

The Linguistics Program is also home to the Creek Language Archive, which contains texts, vocabulary, and recordings of the Creek (Muskogee) language.
