The Letters
The following letters are arranged by date. One of these letters (the Williams letter of 1886) was sent to the Bureau of American Ethnology in 1886, and is now in the Smithsonian Institution's National Anthropological Archives. Upon A. E. W. Robertson's death, her daughters Augusta and Alice sent three more letters (the last three below) to the Bureau as "specimens of Indian correspondence". The remaining letters eventually became part of McFarlin Library's collection.
