Ewell Hall

This huge American Elm (Ulmus americana, above left) shades the east side of Ewell Hall.

The lawn behind the building contains a Cedar-of-Lebanon (Cedrus libani, above right) and a Franklinia alatamaha (left).
The protected niche formed by Ewell Hall provides shelter for a verdant alley of hybrid hollies (a cross of Ilex cornuta and Ilex pernyi, pictured at right) and two Windmill Palms (Trachycarpus fortunei, below).
