Financial Aid

Although the LL.M. Program has limited scholarship funds available, we offer aid to deserving applicants to enable them to join the program.  All applicants are considered for scholarship funds with no additional application needed.   Awards are offered to students with the strongest academic records, work experience and/or the greatest financial need.

International applicants, with the exception of those having permanent United States residency, are not eligible for federally insured loans.  Applicants seeking financial assistance should investigate funding sources in their home countries or from international organizations.  In past years, LL.M. students have received financial support from employers, governments or foundations.

In addition, the United States Embassy or consulate in the applicant's home country may have information on United States government grants under the Fulbright program and other fellowship opportunities.
