Fellowships and Civic Leadership

Fellowships

The Center for Legal and Court Technology Fellowships

The Center for Legal and Court Technology on occasion has fellowships available for students. Currently, there are three fellowships, the Hauslein Fellowship, the Herrmann Fellowship and the Solomon Fellowship. As a condition of each fellowship, a student must contribute an average of 10 work hours per week to the Center and maintain a 2.9 grade point average. The Center works in many areas including technological, medical, empirical and experimental, including law and psychology, and is interested in students with backgrounds in all areas. The fellowships are renewable; thus availability of fellowships for first-year students any given year varies. Center fellowship applicants should have an interest in the impact of technology on the legal system; a technology background is helpful but not required.  Additional information about the Center for Legal and Court Technology is available by clicking here.

Institute Fellows should have a demonstrated interest in constitutional law. They commit ten hour of work per week during the 14 weeks of classes each semester for Institute programs and conferences and as a research assistant for a constitutional law professor. Institute fellowship applicants should have a special interest in consitutional law. Selected Fellows will have the option to work for the Institute during the summer after their first year.
