John Marshall Symposia

2001 marked the bicentennial of the appointment of John Marshall, Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court from 1801-1835 and namesake of William and Mary's Marshall-Wythe School of Law.

In commemoration of the life and legacy of the great Chief Justice, The Institute of Bill of Rights Law presented a series of three John Marshall Scholarly Symposia.
