Alumni Weekend 2008
April 11 & 12
The Law School welcomed more than 500 alumni and guests to Alumni Weekend on April 11-12, 2008. Those in attendance on Friday enjoyed events including The Dean's Wine and Cheese Reception, the 4th Annual Public Service Fund Silent Auction, and dinner out at favorite restaurants around town.
On Saturday, alumni enjoyed a beautiful day filled with activities such as golf at the Golden Horseshoe, a walk around Lake Matoaka with Professor John Levy, and a family picnic on the Law School lawn with Pierces famous barbeque.
The weekend's celebration was capped off with a reception for all alumni on Saturday night, reunion class dinners, and an after-dinner reception. Class parties and dinner were held for the classes of 1958 and before, 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2007, and the graduating class of 2008. Photos from the weekend are available. As of Saturday evening, reunion gifts and pledges for the check presentation totaled over $1.1 million -- the best five-year pledge total ever! Additionally, the classes of 1973, 1983, 1998 and 2003 all set new class gift records for their reunion years. Thanks to everyone for this outstanding support of Marshall-Wythe!

Please mark your calendars now for Alumni Weekend 2009 to be held on April 17th and 18th. All alumni are encouraged to attend and special reunion celebrations will be planned for the classes of 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, and 2004.
