Robert H. Brink JD ’78 was recently reelected to the Virginia House of Delegates. Brink has dutifully served as the 48th District’s Representative (Arlington County) since 1998.
James Orlando Broccoletti JD ’78; Joseph R. Lassiter, Jr. JD ’78; and Anne Katherine Sullivan JD ’78 were recognized as part of the Virginia Business Legal Elite 2007.
Sharon Woods Villarosa JD ’78, a career Foreign Services officer and charge d’affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Rangoon, was recently honored by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice as runner-up for the Diplomacy for Freedom Award. The award honors U.S. diplomats who have made outstanding efforts to advance human dignity, end tyranny, and promote democracy. Villarosa was also recently profiled in the State News Service for her efforts to educate the world and citizens of Burma of the injustices and atrocities faced by pro-democracy demonstrators.
