Classnotes:
Class of 1973
Thomas K. Norment, Jr. JD ’73, a State Senator from James City County, was elected to serve as leader, replacing Walter A. Stosch of Henrico County. Norment had previously been the floor leader.
David W. Otey JD ’73, a partner in the firm of Jones, Blechman, Woltz & Kelly, was recently honored by the Williamsburg Bar Association with the Distinguished Service Award, the highest honor bestowed by the bar association. The award recognized Otey’s outstanding contributions to the legal community and the community at large over the past 34 years.
Thomas Richard Frantz JD’73, MLT ’81 and Larry Benjamin Slipow JD ’73 were recognized as part of the Virginia Business Legal Elite 2007.
Michael A. Inman JD '73 has been a speaker in two Virginia CLE seminars on community association law, the most recent being Creating Condominiums in Virginia, and has co-authored a chapter on transactions involving properties in community associations in a CLE book entitled "Real Estate Transactions in Virginia."
