Guided discussions on assigned readings and written exercises covering: patent claim drafting; patent application preparation; prosecution of patent applications in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office; appeals to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences. Enrollment is limited to 8 students with prior approval of instructor.
