Wireless Access for Campus Visitors
We understand that scholars from other institutions and visitors to campus will need to access the W&M network. Temporary access to the wired and wireless networks is initially limited to a 24 hour period, and one 24 hour period per seven days is permitted.
To use guest access, open a web browser and you will be presented with a W&M authentication page. Click on the "Information for those without a W&M account."
W&M faculty and staff may contact the Technology Support Center at 221-HELP or support@wm.edu to arrange for visitors to have their temporary wired and/or wireless access extended beyond the initial 24 hour period.
To sponsor extended temporary access for a campus visitor, you will need to provide the following information to the TSC:
- Sponsor's Name
- Sponsor's Email Address
- Visitor's Name
- Name Visitor Provided When Authenticating for 24 Hour Access
- Purpose
