Faculty and Staff ID Cards

All Faculty and Staff should have an ID Card. The current card features the Wren Building and has your new id number on the front (aka 93 number).  All privileges accessed through the card such as, W&M Express, Recreation Center, Swem Library and Door access are tied to the new card with the new identification number on the ID card.  Door access to academic buildings is granted through Campus Police.

New Faculty/Staff

To obtain an id you will be required to bring either a signed Human Resources ID request form or a letter from your department head showing that you are eligible to have an official ID. It is also required that your department or Human Resources has assigned you your ID Number (93 number) in Banner. If you are able to have this number available for the ID Office staff it will greatly improve the process and help avoid delay and frustration for all. Also, please bring an official pictured form of ID to speed the process.

VIMS

Once a year, in the fall, the ID Office is sets up at Waterman Hall temporally to allow new cards to be made. The majority of the Faculty and Staff turn out and received their new ID Cards. If you missed this opportunity then you will need to come to the ID Office at the Williamsburg Campus during normal business hours.

Why do the ids all have 93?....When switching over system we had to find a number that would not conflict with any in the existing systems. Thus was born the 93. Why 93? ....It was picked because the college was founded in 1693.
