Freshman Research Program

Our HHMI Freshman Research Program in Biology and Chemistry and related sciences allows participating students to conduct independent research with a faculty mentor very early in their college careers—as a freshman.  Many of these students will have the opportunity to continue their research during the following summer – and throughout the next three years. Incoming freshman who have strong backgrounds in science and a desire to become involved in a mentored research project are invited to participate in the program.
