Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) and Human Subjects Training Programs
The Association for Research Integrity (AFRI) provides compliance committee members (IACUC, PHSC, and IBC), principal investigators, students, and staff with an on-line instruction program that documents compliance with the PHS policy on Instruction in the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR). Human Subject Assurance training also is available to PHSC members and individuals involved in human subject research. To access the program, please contact the training program administrator to set up a records folder.

Animal Subjects Training Program
The Laboratory Animal Training Association's (LATA's) on-line training program documents compliance with federal regulations on training in the humane care and use of laboratory animals in research. Completion of the Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals and the Occupational Health and Safety modules is required of all NEW IACUC members, as well as NEW faculty, students, and staff involved in animal research.
