Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Program Sites--projects
at these sites make possible a number of opportunities for undergraduates
to join in natural and social science research projects each summer.
Contact each site directly for specific information and for application
procedures and deadlines. This list is updated fully only once a year (in
February-March), when awards are made resulting from the competition
initiated the previous September. |

designed by the participant and a sponsoring faculty member and be conducted
at the College of William & Mary. It is expected to eventually
result in publication and / or presentation. |

Travel Awards for Biological Research are made to help defray the costs
of travel to present the results of research at national or regional meetings.
The student will be expected to be the first author on a poster or a presentation
of work that was done in major part by the student and done at the College
of William & Mary. |
| Applications for both
programs are due in mid- September. Students can pick up an application
form with detailed information from the Biology Department office (Millington
