Government Department
Pi Sigma Alpha
Students who have taken a) at least 18 hours of graded work in Government at the College, b) have an average 3.3 GPA in those courses, and c) place in the top one-third of their overall classes in terms of GPA are eligible for membership in Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society, and will be contacted by the Department with information about applying. Each year the officers and members of Pi Sigma Alpha organize activities, including a reception at the Green Leafe following initiation, movie nights, faculty Jeopardy game, and most recently student-faculty softball games.
