Latin American Studies
The major in Latin American Studies features a detailed examination of the cultural, economic, historical, political and social development of one of the world's most dynamic and diverse regions. The student who specializes in Latin American Studies should be prepared to pursue advanced work in a variety of disciplines such as Anthropology, Economics, Government, Hispanic Studies, History, Sociology and Religion. Majors must complete courses from eleven "lines" of a menu system, where each line includes one or more courses. Once a course is counted under a line, it cannot be counted elsewhere. Thirty-three credit hours in these courses are required for the major.
Please note that certain menu items in this website will revert to the Global Studies website - please use your Back button to return to the Latin American Studies website.
This keeps continuity among the 6 CFAC websites and for ease of maintenance.
