Global Studies

If you are currently declared as an GS major you should continue to follow your program of study.  Reforms to the GS Program that are currently under consideration will not affect you.  However, there have been some administrative changes of which you should be aware.

We are now a new program, International Relations and Global Studies (formerly International Studies), administered by the School of Arts and Sciences and not by the Reves Center.

The Program Director for GS is Professor William Fisher (Wash 125), the Program Director for IR is Professor Mike Tierney (Morton 31), and our new Administrative Assistant housed in Morton 226, is Luanna Martins. Directors of Advising for GS are the GS CFAC members, listed on this site. At present, the Program shares the Government Department Office (Morton 10) mail slot.

All forms that you need are now available on this web site.

Check out information on your particular concentration here, under Area Concentration Curriculums.  You may also find answers in the curriculum FAQs.  Additional questions can be directed to your faculty advisor or to Professor Fisher (whfish@wm.edu)
